I live in the South of England and have found some adders in some tall grass that I want to cut. How can I get rid of them, or persuade them to move somewhere else?

You can't really. I have a family of them in my back garden living under the wildlife pond where they've been quite happily living for the past four years. If you leave them alone, they'll leave you alone basically. I'm in Kent.

You need to subtract them from your garden and if that doesn't work, well, divide and I'm sure you will conquer.
Don't ever try to multiply with them! |

If possible keep chickens, they will attack snakes and eat them.
