My city sent me a first notice that I need to get a backflow preventer annual test. We have only had our system for two years and haven't had to have this test done yet. How much should I expect to pay?

Don't skip this test, ever!
In my area, the cost runs from around $65.00 - $90.00. It doesn't take long, so it seems like a lot; just remember that the plumber not only has to be licensed as a plumber, then he requires additional education to get his back-flow device testing certification. Most States require this to be done every year. It is one of the most important things you can do to keep your family healthy. |
