Mums would work well this time of year. You could force bulbs and have Paperwhites blooming in a sunny windowsill in January-February. You could also force Hyacinths to come into bloom following that, for a March-April indoor smell-a-thon.

Four o' Clocks. Even though they are not house plant. I grew one and it made it to blooming stage and it smelled really pleasant. Although i would recommend a bright sunny window.

Flower Farm has a jasmine Whttp://www.whiteflowerfarm.com/32581-product.htmlhite
WARNING though. I found it too fragrant in my yard, let alone the house, plus they are quite expensive. I suggest freesia, it has a heavenly light clean scent. I would buy it in bloom at a nursery or big box store like OSH or on line http://www.easytogrowbulbs.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=177

Gardenias. They have large white perfumed blooms on dark green foliage. This is the best smell in the world for house plants. (Like roses on a warm summers evening).
